Honda Accord is seeing a bit of a face lift for next year's model, apparently. This, we find out, thanks to the release of the Honda Inspire upgrade in Japan. See, overseas Accord is well known as Inspire.

The Accord is still a global name. Honda created an Accord for each major type of market: Japan, Europe and North America. Japan and Europe started sharing a more compact version of the Accord since the seventh generation, while the US Accord joined the size race. Honda has been waiting for the reboot to their popular Odyssey minivan. In a time when larger vehicles such as SUV's and pick ups are being downsized, in order to appeal to Americans who need more fuel efficient vehicles, a ride like Odyssey is still needed for the kids and cargo space.

The all new Odyssey for 2011 is "a key launch" for the Japanese auto maker. Sure, the company has introduced many state of the art green vehicles, such as Insight and the upcoming CR-Z sports hybrid, but some people just need a van to do the work…

Motor City, Detroit is the happening place to be when concept cars head into town. There are rumors that Honda Motor Co. - the Japanese auto maker - will show off their next-generation Civic at the Detroit Auto Show in January.

At least, they'll show off a "concept" that is reportedly very close to what it will look like when it goes on sale in the Spring of 2011, according to John Mendel, Honda's executive vice president of sales in the U.S., in an interview last week.
