2012 Honda Insight Gets Facelift

Honda plans to debut their revitalized 2012 Honda Insight later this week at the Frankfurt Motor Show, in Germany. In years past the Insight has been considered "A Hybrid for Everyone"1 has undertaken a serious facelift for the 2012 model year.

It goes without saying that the Japanese automaker has worked hard to keep specs and feature disclosures to an absolute minimum. Like any other automaker, the Big H enjoys giving their critics and fans a surprise. But, luckily for you, Honda Superstore of Lisle wants to give you a sneak peak at the all new 2012 Honda Insight.

The first improvement made to the 2012 Honda Insight was an increase to the 2011's already efficient fuel economy. Honda recently released photographs of the all new 2012 Insight to gain enthusiasm and excitement prior to its unveiling reveal how the Big H used a more aerodynamic front bumper and grill to help achieve higher fuel economy. Several other factors include reduced engine friction, and adjustments to the CVT and AC system.

Exact ratings will likely be announced later this week at the Frankfurt Motor Show. But, for those of you who can't wait Honda Superstore of Lisle can only offer you only an educated guess of what is expected. That is approximately 45 mpg city/51 mpg highway, compared to the 2011's 43 mpg highway/40 mpg city.
