The interior of the 'Euro-Spec Civic' is not much different than that of the American variants. "The cabin is outfitted with 'soft touch' plastics, a redesigned steering wheel and a touchscreen infotainment system," according to Honda PR. 2012's model is 10mm wider, 20mm lower, and comes with either 16 or 17-inch alloy wheels.¹

As for under the hood, the Civic is available in three different engines, a 1.4-liter i-VTEC generating 98 hp and 94 lb-ft of torque, a 1.8-liter i-VTEC delivering 139 hp and 128 lb-ft of torque and Honda's 2.2-liter i-DTEC diesel creating 148 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque.

Acceleration from 0-62 mph (or 0-100 km's) is 13.4 seconds for the 1.4, 9.1 seconds for the 1.8, and 8.5 seconds for the 2.2 diesel. Top speeds are 116, 134 and 135 mph respectively.
